Chariho Youth Soccer 2024/25 Spring Competitive League Tryouts

The registration process is for tryouts only. You will not pay anything at this time. Players MUST REGISTER in order for them to try out. (There is no fee but you must select the $0.00 payment option and complete the entire checkout process to submit.) We are accepting interest in tryouts from 2009-2018 birth years- teams will be dependent on having the numbers to create them.

Tryouts will be held on Saturday October 19 for both boys and girls for age groups U8 – U16 (Birth years 2009-2018) at 3:00 PM at Ninigret Park. Rain Date/Make-up day will be Saturday October 26 at 1:00PM at Ninigret. Check-ins will be located in front of the snack shack. If you are unable to make one of those times, please contact Kristeen at Competitive@chariho.com.

After tryouts are finished and teams are formed, players will be informed about making their respective teams. At that point you will be expected to pay the registration fee for the spring season.

Please make sure your player brings plenty of water. All players receive a numbered pinnie for identification during tryouts so wearing existing competitive or recreational jerseys is optional.

Finally, we need volunteers! Without volunteers, CYSA would not be able to run! If you are interested in becoming a CYSA board member, an at-large board member, or would like to help in other capacities please reach out at volunteers@chariho.com.

Fall Rec Season Schedule

The 2024 fall rec soccer season begins Saturday September 7th. Full season schedule can be found on the Recreational page.

We Desperately Needs Volunteers!

We really need your help! Our fall season and future are at risk because many of our dedicated board members have stepped down as their kids have aged out of the program.

As you know, CYSA is run entirely by volunteers, so we're in urgent need of new board members and a President to step up and keep the spirit alive. If you or anyone you know is passionate about making a difference and having a blast with us, please consider joining our team. Together, we can ensure that the CYSA continues to thrive and bring joy to kids in our community.

We also need people to help us with routine tasks like running the snack shack, or installing and removing sponsor signs on Saturday mornings.

Maddie Potts Scholarship Applications

Once again, CYSA will be awarding this non-recurring $1,137.00 scholarship to one eligible graduating High School senior male and one eligible graduating female

Welcome to CYSA!

We want to welcome all new and returning players and families to our family!

The Chariho Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit organization run exclusively by volunteers, and the success of CYSA depends on the efforts and dedication of its volunteers.

As an all-volunteer board, we are working on new ways to grow and sustain both our recreational and competitive programming. For us to be effective, we really NEED YOUR HELP! Please consider stepping up and getting involved to ensure the sustainability of CYSA by contacting us at Volunteers@chariho.com.

Please also consider joining us at our regular monthly board meetings as a way to get to know us and see what we are all about. These meetings are always open to the public and you can participate as much or as little as you are comfortable with!
